USDA Certified Wiener

Well, here I am....t-minus five days before departure to Bangkok. I tend to get car sick, so I’m not really looking forward to the drive over. Not exactly sure how long it’ll take to get there, but it can’t be more than three hours, right? That’s by far the longest it’s taken me to get anywhere, so I’m pretty confident in assuming it won’t take much longer.

I'm the little spoon :)

I’ll be honest, the move hasn’t sunk in. My parents seem a bit stressed out and extremely busy, but I haven’t done a single thing to prepare myself. I continue to go about my typical daily routine: I wake up, snuggle with my girlies for a brief doggie nap in the sun, chase around my cousin Pipesy in hopes decent scraps will get flung overboard from her high chair, sleep, eat, and sleep some more. That's about it! One thing that’s getting pretty annoying for sure are all the vet appointments. I’ve been dragged to at least five over the course of the last month. I’ve gotten poked in places I didn't even know I had. Rabies, bordetella, leptospirosis, distemper…you name it, I got the vaccine. Apparently, tomorrow I’m getting USDA certified. Makes me sound like I’m a cut of meat, doesn't it? If I was, without a doubt I’d be a filet mignon. Or maybe ground round, because I’m low to the ground and I’m round. Italian sausage would also work since my daddy’s roots go back to the Swiss-Italian border. I wouldn’t even be insulted if I was certified as a standard, all-American HOT DOG. I’d probably take that as a compliment. I’ve got high hopes though, so keep your fingers crossed for filet mignon.
